As we embark on this journey together, I am filled with hope and determination to elevate, represent, and cultivate a stronger sense of belonging for Filipino-American nurses at Stanford Health Care. With over 4% Filipino nurses in the USA and approximately 50,000 in California, our community is a vital part of the healthcare landscape. As the first and only institution-based chapter/subchapter of the Philippine Nurses Association of America (PNAA), we are committed to pioneering innovative leadership that promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) within our professional work environment. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Dale Beatty for his unwavering support, the PNANC and PNAA leadership for their partnership, and the inaugural officers and board members of PNANC-Stanford for their dedication. Together, we have made significant strides, and I am honored to continue delivering alongside all of you.
